Event First Germantown Charity Horse Show (Germantown Gaited Horses and Walking Horses added to the event for the show’s competition.
Highlights Organized by Foster, Audrey Taylor & Ray Firestone along with Civic Club

Charity 1st Charity Horseshow- Gailor Hall Home for Boys (now Boy’s Town)
Highlights 140 horses from 6 states and 5,000 people in the stands. Concession stands manned by Germantown Civic Club Members

GCHSA receives Tennessee Charter for the organization. President John R. Stivers elected and 10 directors; 5 from each organization. Temporary Box seating installed. Author William Faulkner and family of Oxford, Ms. attend and “enjoyed the show.”
